I know this one. It's the same for most businesses. It's money. It always comes down to money. But frag you say the support costs are so high. And yep they sure are. But buying new upgraded licenses for the newest windows is only part of the cost. You have to install it on all the computers. Retrain people on the new operating system. Possibly buy new software that worked great on xp but bombs completely on windows 7. There's a huge cost to any change a large corporation makes and corporations like money.
