On a side note to that episode of house, there's a series called Switched at Birth which has several deaf characters and a lot of insight on deaf culture, struggles, etc. It's aimed at teens but was still really good and it taught me a lot. I actually wanted to learn ASL for a while because of it. I still do, but haven't had the chance.

Couldn't this be considered illegal 'wiretapping' then? According to something I saw on FP a few months ago (which, may have been false because internet), wiretapping includes any kinds of digital recordings, visual or audible. There could be a MAJOR lawsuit over this. Plus, I'm assuming most of the kids being recorded as minors without any adult permission, which would make it worse. And also if they had video of a student jacking off or something (I mean, you can't expect that no one would use the computer to look at porn), couldn't that be child porn issues as well?

I'm not a lawyer or anything, but all of this just sounds like it can add up to be one big mess of a lawsuit.

My sister was a regional managers for years and told me it was because it added "unique" flavor and doubles the shelf life. The main reason is the latter. (Or was, at least. She worked back when it was just first getting momentum and we only had two in all of Oklahoma City.)

However, OP can chime in and correct me if I'm wrong.

The way I put it, is 50 Shades is the king of "walmart smut." It is absolutely the best thing you'll find if you go to Walmart, look at their smutty romance novels, and take one home.

But if you're someone into that kind of genre, there's plenty better out there for sure. Is it good literature? No. Not at all. But it is great in terms of something dirty to pick up, and it hits all the points that a lot of women read those books for. Hot man, obsessive over the woman, into dirty things, etc.

Came here to say this, thinking I was one of the few who would even know about the site to even make this comment. :( Oh well. Now I'm curious if I know you or have ever RP'd with you.
