Hispanic guy here:

Tamales. There's really nothing that tastes better than a good tamale. Not one of those weak Texas tamales that are the size of a Vienna sausage either. I'm talking about tamales made by poor people in California & Mexico. Tamale quality is inversely proportional to the standard of living of the people making them. I don't know why.

It's not uncommon. Just like I'm not supposed to tell people I work for Lockheed Martin. That could get me fired. If I worked for Lockheed Martin, that is.

Coincidentally, If I ever DO get a job with them, I'll probably have to remember to delete this post some years from now.

And they are helpless when abducted by some organizations because they really will kill her parents. Such is the third world.

I like to think that time travel to the past is something that needs to be specifically setup as a destination point. I.E. the only way to time travel to the past is to invent the machine that lets you time travel from the future to it. This would also mean that time travel is impossible until you reach it's invention date and subsequent activation points where the machines are brought online.

It would be interesting to invent it however and then discover pre-existing signals from before it's invention date. That would cause quite a stir I imagine.
