I have no questions, but I'd like you to know that my wife gave birth to your music. You're the soundtrack to the most incredible day of my life.

Thank you.

My wife's labour began around 4:30AM. She laboured quietly and without much pain until about 8:30 when the contractions began to become difficult. Our midwife arrived at 9:30, and left again because she wasn't dilated enough.

I only remember bits and pieces of that day, but I remember hanging out on the couch, holding a cold compress to her head and counting her through contractions while Andy's 'Art of Motion' and 'The Gates of Gnomeria' album played in the background, along with rainymood.

When the midwife returned at 2:30, that was the last time I remember hearing Andy's music, though I did turn it off at midnight. My wife had tough back labour until about 6:30, when she began spontaneous pushing, and so she got into the birthing pool. That helped her a lot, and she gave birth on our bed at 8:45PM — 16 hours later.

My wife didn't scream; she had a medication-free birth at home in a comfortable surrounding, and she wasn't pressured to perform. Nor did our son wail in the slightest. He breezed through all three of his APGAR tests, but they had to poke his feet to make him cry.

After that, I remember crying as I called my parents and told them; I remember ordering Dominos Pizza, and tipping the Delivery guy extraordinarily well, and I remember everyone leaving a few hours after that.

From there to about yesterday, it's foggy.
