I've heard many people saying that cancer research is a very cutthroat field. That you can barely trust your co-workers not to steal your data. Is that your experience?

I absolutely agree that collaboration is the way to go. I am trying to decide where I want to go after my PhD. I would like to be in the field that is supportive of collaborative spirit. Thanks for your insight!
