Why did you choose to hike the Appalachian trail instead of the Pacific Crest trail or the Continental Divide trail?

A likely outcome is that health insurance companies would move operations to the state most friendly to insurance companies. The same reason that your credit card company now runs it's operation from South Dakota. Where the regulations are controlled by a legislature that you can't vote out of office.

In reality only about 8% of firearms homicides are gang related. See FBI 2015 UCR, Expanded Homicide Data Table 11, Murder Circumstances.

There were 9,616 firearms homicides for 2015. The two gang related categories are 175 Gangland killings and 578 juvenile gang killings add up to 753. Or just less than 8% of total firearms homicides.

EDIT: Add link and do the math. Gang related firearms homicides are 8% of total rather than 15%.
