I've visited there because my wife used to teach D&HH in elementary school. When you first arrived at Galludet were you struck by the lack of background conversation noise? That was one thing that made a distinct impression on me. Crowds of students in common areas, milling around excitedly and signing to each other like crazy, with plenty of movement sound but no voices.

Serious Crime Squad sounds like a British comedy series. It could be like Extras with famous guest stars as the felons.

How do you feel about the people freaking out because they can't go to restaurants for 2 months?
