How geeky/techie are you in real life? How familiar were you with the tech world and programming before Silicon Valley?

Hey Dolph, thanks for doing this.

My questions have to do with your various engineering degrees.

-Have you used them or done work pertaining to them?

-Have those skills and knowledge helped you in any way with your entertainment career?

-Finally, if you were an evil scientist (which you're extremely qualified to be), what would be your super villain name?

I'm paying my student loans in an IBR plan, but the amount I owe is increasing every year. Am I doing something wrong?

Some more details:

-My original loans were about $70k. I defaulted a couple of years as I was unemployed and didn't know my options.

-Eventually, I consolidated at 6% and got deferment for a year.

-The amount I owe is currently around $84k and has been increasing every year even thought I'm making payments.

-In the statements I see that all my payments are going to the interest and the Great Lakes website says I can't change that under IBR. Is this correct?

If nothing is wrong, what do you suggest I do to tackle this? At this current rate it would take me about 40 years to pay this off. Is it worth paying more? Also, I read somewhere that if I pay for 20-25 years I can get the rest forgiven, is this true?
