I LOVE that song. It was the backdrop to many of the drives taking my daughter to and from school.

At a sound check before the DC concert with Carole King, I shared some blueberries from my garden with you. You mentioned that you grow blueberries in your own garden - Since you tour for so much of the summer, are you able to have much of a garden? Do you have help with it in your absence? The good thing about blueberries is that if you aren't there to harvest it, the birds give you all the help you could need!

I was at my first concert of yours in Chicago in 1971. You had a starting act that no one paid any attention to, as often happens, walking about, talking, not listening much. What is funny is that this start up act had the hottest album a year later - Carole King and Tapestry. .... So, being close in age to you, and being crazy in love with being a parent myself, I am wondering what you are most enjoying about being a parent "second time around" now, with Rufus and Henry? What parts of parenting your twin boys are most meaningful and enjoyable to you now, at this stage of life? I saw your canoe/river clean up trip with one of your boys, and it looked grand. Do you enjoy their connection to school/homework/projects? And as a math person, I have to ask, do they like math?!
