Im sure its long been said but when I went to look at cats all the kittens were gone. A lady brought out a little orange puff that was just recently out of surgery and ready to be adopted. I REALLY didnt want an orange cat but when the lady gave it to us I held it in my arms and it looked up at me, pressed my cheek with its paws, opened his paws up like he was trying to feel my face then just settled into my arms and took a nap. It was perfect. I wouldnt have any steady plan, just go out and see whats available

Had a friend that was diagnosed with testicular cancer and given 97% chance of success. He did not make it through chemo. Every day on facebook he made it out to be a joke and constantly stated "I dont understand why everyones making this a big deal" and unfortunately that was the last status update he made. I believe this is why its a big deal..you never really know what will happen.
