______ Chocolate, now Fat Free! (And we only introduced 5 franken-chemicals and an extra 20g/serving of corn syrup!)

I'm not convinced that the 18day kickstarter is the deal killer. Likely everyone that WOULD pledge has heard about the Kickstarter already. I think the larger issues are:

  • Bias against Harmonix: Why do they need our money, they made Rockband!
  • PS3/PS4 exclusivity
  • Lack of licensed artists: Addressed somewhat in their latest update with the following announced artists:
  • Anamanaguchi (Scott Pilgrim Saves the World)
  • C418 (Minecraft)
  • Danny Baranowsky (Super Meat Boy, Canabalt)
  • Freezepop (FreQuency, Amplitude)
  • Jim Guthrie (Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP)
  • Kasson Crooker (FreQuency, Amplitude, Symbion Project)
  • George & Jonathan

I have a number of friends that will not pledge unless it's available on PC. It makes sense, as Kickstarter is largely a place where PC projects are backed.

Glad tidings from another person cursed with an unusual Y in their name.

How far off are the next mech announcements? PGI (You, I believe) has previously said that there are 6 mechs whose concepts are ready to go, and were waiting for some sort of PR event.

Urbanmech: Yes or Yes?

Most of our maps now have alternate versions. There was a "Caustic Night" in the game files, and was mentioned back in November, but AFAIK hasn't been brought up since then. Has it been fully dropped?

Edit: "alternate modes" --> "alternate versions"

Hip Hip Hooray for the Succession Wars era. Much more limited tech made the universe interesting, too bad the standalone MechWarrior you had planned in that era didn't work.

I think the blog and addressing it in the Harmonix video podcast were good things, but changing that first impression is extremely hard.

Regardless of what happens with the Kickstarter, I hope you guys find the support it found heartening, and eventually move to pursue another project like Amplitude.
