But you're in Canada. Do you have a 5th?

Also something that one of my professors pointed out is that college IS experience. If I have a 4 year degree, I can put down the time I spent in related classes and projects as experience. Using this method I was able to land a successful interview with a company, confidently claiming 5 years of experience at age 21

My question is at the end of my wall of text.

I don't know much about you or your work ( I'll admit, I'm lazy and haven't read it all), but as someone who grew up in an anti-vaxx house, thank you. The USA is a fantastic place for different opinions and viewpoints on a wide range of issues from religion to politics and everything in between, but what so many people don't seem to understand is that vaccines are not one of those things that won't harm others if you have a difference of opinion.

My family was a normal family (as far as using medicine and trusting doctors) up until I was in 8th grade. It was then that a lady down the street from us had a small in-home get together with people on our street to hear this new "whole health chiropractor" give a talk about health and wellness. Looking back now as a 24 yr old, I can see so many flaws and red flags all over his teachings, but back then I didn't know enough to push back. The stuff he was saying made sense to me and to my parents. We started going to his chiropractic clinic and he started preaching about how re-aligning the spine and taking pressure off the nerves would allow the body to heal itself like it was designed to. His whole mantra was "God doesn't need any help, just no interference." As a devout Christian now, I have a huge problem with that because he has maligned God's word to brainwash his patients into thinking medicine is poison and humans meddling with chemicals to affect our health is against God's will. And he has gotten filthy rich by doing it.

One of the cornerstones of his teaching is about vaccines. He has quotes all over his office about the laundry list of "dangerous" chemicals in vaccines and what they can do to the human body. He still has Mercury/Thimerosol listed on the MMR vaccine. He has a quote from a former surgeon general that says "the best vaccine is the one that is never used" and he uses that quote to imply that vaccines are a huge government conspiracy.

My parents have bought in wholesale to the idea and are spending over $300 a month to get their chiropractic adjustments and easily $80 or more a month on his stupid supliments.

My parents now think I have been brainwashed by big pharma because I did research on my own when I became an adult and figured out this guy was a quack. My wife is also in her last semester of pre-med, so that aids in their opinion that I've been brainwashed.

Question:

How in the world do I reach my parents and start to turn them back to reality? They have been in this guy's chiropractic scam for 11 years and any discussion I have with them is like trying to reason with a brick wall. They almost had a meltdown when I told them they needed to be fully vaccinated if they wanted to see my newborn because I was not going to risk my baby getting whooping cough or measles because some guy told them vaccines cause autism.

I do that out of the firetruck still. I actually had a trucker do that a year or so ago in Houston.

Not OP obviously, but I can speak a little about that. When I was in high school, I was in Air Force JROTC and our head instructor was a retired Major who was a SERE instructor in the 80s and 90s. Our Junior year was survival training taught by him and it was intense. There was obviously only so much we could do in a high school setting, but we did have a forest behind the school with streams and lakes that he used for our lessens. I go hiking nowadays and I feel much more prepared for survival than I did before going through his course. He was also in charge of the POW training camp in Spokane. They don't play around. They go hard as hell.
