How far would you say we are from implementing our gene-editing technologies within Humans?

When will public governments and figures speak out against chinas current pollution practices and overfishing.

They are destroying and exploiting africas coasts and its vulnerable countries allow the exploitation because of infrastructure and investment projects from the party.

The west contributed heavily to climate change with it being the first major industrialization process which burnt fossil fuels to build up to a point where new sustainable technology and pushes for climate control policy have started to cut down its footprint. But I feel like nothing is done about chinas footprints as they continue their heavy industry.

Does china still have a developing nation status when it has the highest gdp on the planet?
