I remember my family rescued a dog from our local pound, and at first the dog was really sweet. However, eventually the dog started biting at my younger sister, so my family had to get rid of the dog. We were lucky enough that my dad heard about a woman who wanted to trade her cat for a dog, so we made the switch.

My question is, if this option had not been open to my family, what would you suggestion be for getting rid of a dog who posed a threat? Are there other options besides returning the dog to the shelter you got it from? Thanks!
