Genital HSV1 is not rare. Oral HSV1 now accounts for 30-50% of new genital herpes infections via oral sex.

but one of my greatest fears is that if I end up alone no one will ever want me... Or that I could give a partner HSV1.

If you have genital HSV1, you should research some, you will find that transmission of genital HSV1 to the genitals is rare and almost undocumented. Nearly all genital HSV1 infections are due to oral sex with an oral HSV1 carrier.

What are you talking about???! VZV does NOT "shift into" HSV.

When you say it worked, what do you mean by that? As far as I know this "vaccine" hasn't been shown to cure herpes, prevent herpes or prevent transmission. Your post indicates that your noticeable symptoms disappeared. Did you ever try daily valtrex? Have you been tested for asymptomatic viral shedding? Asymptomatic viral shedding has been shown cause up to 70% of Herpes transmission. So I would think it's important to figure out what your shedding rates are now after the treatment.

Your comment doesn't read as someone who knows very much about HSV testing. HSV blood testing can differentiate between HSV1 and HSV2 so I'm not sure how testing for HSV is "useless". Serological testing for HSV can be useful in identifying asymptomatic carriers of HSV2 which is helpful since asymptomatic carriers of HSV2 seem to be the vectors of the virus. People who know their HSV status are less likely to spread the virus then those who don't know.

Also visual diagnosis of herpes is highly inaccurate.

Oral HSV carriers are most infectious when cold sores are present but the virus still sheds from the face asymptomatically(without any symptoms to the host) from time to time. Here's some info about oral HSV1 viral shedding outside of visible outbreaks

The HSV-1 virus can be shed in the mouth even when there are no symptoms; this occurs on anywhere from 6 percent to 30 percent of days.

IMO you should disclose your oral HSV before exposing others to the virus. This is usually kissing but can be sharing drinks or utensils. Most importantly you should disclose before oral sex because oral HSV1 is now causing 30-50% of new genital herpes infections via oral sex.
