Have you ever watched John Bergman's videos on You Tube? If so, do you believe "If diet is wrong, medicine is of no use. When diet is correct, then medicine is of no need." ?

Was the elimination of gluten thorough? I tried to eliminate MSG several times over the last 30 years but I wasn't aware of all the places it hides. They put gluten in chewing gum for instance. I was unsuccessful at eliminating it until I had the support of a naturopath. This way there was a clear list of what I could not eat.........basically anything processed was on the no list as well as many other things. It was a difficult diet to get through to tell you the truth. As far as the test for celiac. If you take one that is anything like the one they offer in Canada, it is useless. They only test for gliadin (1/2 of gluten) and then only 1/4 of the Ig possibilities at that. Your villa must reach 80% atrophy to be considered celiac, so they will tell you to keep on eating gluten until the destruction is more complete.

Have you considered healing your gut? There are many books on the subject, but one of the best ones is The Gut and Psychology Syndrome. by Dr. Natasha Cambell-McBride. She is an MD with a Masters in neurology and a Masters in Nutrition. She cured her son of severe autism with this diet. She has pioneered the use of probiotics in this field. If you ever hear of people doing the GAPS diet, that's referring to her book. There are many other illnesses that stem from the gut, and as well, many other diets that are successful in healing leaky gut. You might want to research Selective Carbohydrate diet or read the book clean gut by doctor Yunger.......oh, also "Why isn't my brain working?" by Dr. Karrazian also runs through a gut healing diet protocol I believe. In some cases the vagus nerve is not working properly. If you go on Underground Wellness, there is a pod cast with Dr. K that details how to get the vagus nerve working again. I would imagine that you need to look at your gut/brain axis.
