I know this is an AMA about you, but what is it in your opinion that makes Yamada Naoko's works so fantastic? (As yours are, too!)

Well, yeah, it's finals week...

Mr. Howard! Just wanted to let you know that I really, really loved Rush. As a huge sports fan, I think Rush somehow manages to be one of the greatest sports films I've seen, just capturing the competitive spirit, the drive, the determination, the will between those two men that transcends racing.

What inspired you to make that film? And what, if any, other sports stories would you consider directing?

Thank you for all that you do for anime! As someone who's is really vested into the industry and trying to learn more and more about the nuances and process behind it, I am very excited for this AMA.

If you could direct one other recent anime, which one would it have been? Also, what is a behind-the-scenes story regarding A Certain Magical Index that you could tell us?
