When I was a comedian at the Comedy Store back in the 90's, we were all standing around in the parking lot, smoking and goofing off. Pauly was there, along with Dom Irrera, Joe Rogan, Don Barris and bunch of others. During one of those quiet lulls in the yucks, Dom says, "Hey, Pauly, I had to leave early, but what the fuck happened?? Did you guys ever make it outta that bubble?" Story #2: Mitzi, his mom, told me she would be late to the Store that night because she was going to a premiere of one of Pauly's movies. (I forget which.) "But I won't be staying long. I'll leave when they start throwing shit at the screen."
