Hey, Thats a really cool PC! I always found that Intel has had great linux support. Is that something you guys actively work on, i.e. write linux drivers or make sure linux supports your chipsets well or is that mostly done by the community?

Also, can you do non-graphic computing on the IRIS PROs like OpenCL etc.? As a not-really-gaming anymore kinda guy, having a small general purpose high power computing thing with a skull on it woud be very cool.

Thank you for the AMA, you guys seem very open and honest with your answers and it seems the community is interested in your awesome thermal design for this powerdevice.

Thats really great, I bought my mom an intel i3 notebook and linux mint worked flawessly on it (wifi drivers installed automatically but they are the only real flaw). Intel really is the best choice for linux users!

Thank you for your answer and please keep up the great linux support. I have bought intel only hardware several times because i knew without looking it up linux would run without a hitch. Thats really really great and with the drivers all integrated into the kernel you get unmatched driver quality. Imho one of Intels greatest feats!

Also, really cool Idea to do an AMA and let engineers and not marketing people answer. Love that!
