I got struck by lightning 40 years or so ago, and for quite a few weeks after, I would crouch down if I saw lightning in the area and run for cover - even though the odds of me being struck again were astronomical.

I've gotten over the fear now, but still think about it more then a regular fellow would when there's lightning in the area. It'll get easier for you with time but you'll probably cringe for a while at gunshot like noises.

Did you try Marijuana at any time to mitigate your seizures. If so, did it have any effect?
