First off, congratulations on the twins, marry Christmas, thank you for serving us, and congratulations again on fixing your life! Your story is truly amazing! Think about it as a movie though. It all adds up. The character loving background, tragic event, downfall, the savior, the savior again with his daughter, the sad tragic event of his death, and the happy ending/reward for all of your efforts (and his) the twins! The Grandchildren!

The story writes itself! I really hope someone reads this and thinks the same thing who can make that happen. You deserve it!

Hi Jerry, I was in the crowd last sunday at the Denver all store meeting. I wanted to thank you for coming in and for everything you have done for our company. My question is about student workers like myself and what REI is doing to cater to them. I've heard rumors about tuition reimbursement on classes that "are relevant to the company." I am currently working on a mechanical engineering degree with the intention of working in the outdoor gear design industry. It is not easy to pay for school, rent, and everything else with a part time job.

My questions are, does this major qualify for tuition reimbursement, and do you have any advice on how I could eventually move towards designing REI branded gear?

REI has been amazingly welcoming and accommodating. I would love to give back eventually with some product ideas I have, specifically ultralight and affordable performance gear.
