Why are most Chipotle's super stingy with the amount of "veggies" (grilled onions and peppers) they give out?

I didn't realize it came precooked....but I guess I shouldn't be surprised since its fast food.

How do you support yourself on these trips? I noticed you mentioned you did this through Europe and Asia as well. I imagine there are areas that are quite dangerous, do you arm yourself with anything? What experience stands out to you most?
