Just playing devil's advocate; he could feel like he doesn't fit into the Deaf or hearing communities, we heard alot about CODAs feeling that way

Deaf people only being able to read menus and stuff is kinda bs, older people maybe but lots of deaf people can read esp younger ones

Wouldn't the FBI be better suited for that role. I mean that's what they used to do back in the hoover days and I doubt it stopped
