I've been a Pumpkins fan since I was a little kid, but the dude is absolutely an asshole. It's not going to stop me from enjoying the music. I'm pretty sure that plays in part why the guy goes through band mates like poop goes through geese. That said, you can appreciate work removed from the individual. I mean lots of talented people throughout history were assholes and are still respected for their work. Hell my Reddit handle is the name of a character from my favorite book which was written by a total asshole.
