I was pleasantly suprised to see you present at the UN yesterday during the Ecuadorian Special Panel meeting on Diplomatic Asylum. Considering the US hostile behaviour and several serious investigations against WL, does your current visit there pose a risk to your person, were there any effors to prevent you from attending? with best wishes to you and your endeavours :-)

The Middle East is in turmoil. Some of it as a result of years of war be it civil war or external occupation, some of it is a result for demands for democratisation/human rights or national self determination of different groups/minorities (religious or ethnic). Cablegate offers a great insight into the dynamics of the region. Do you think that The Syria Files released by WL earlier in July also impact events in that country and the region and if so how?
