Thanks man, appreciate the reply. Im in Aus so exporting cars is an issue, its at least 5k to ship a car from Aus-US, and any other shipping is really cost prohibitive. Plus any of our desirable cars are either crazy expensive because of taxes etc (say a decent 5 series BMW that's 20 years old is still 5-10k) and if they're bent/damaged typically chop shops buy them for rebirths.

Agreed working on someone elses money is a much better proposition, and I'm a good salesman and can charm people fairly easy, but I'd only want to do it short term and start out into something on my own, because even a good wage is still just a percentage of what you could do on your own.

Damn, I have been reading this while in my dead end job and even though I wouldn't do anything illegal its definitely a good read. What would be a quick, easy way to make some more money on top of a shitty wage to put aside? I used to buy/fix/sell mobile phones, people knew and I made more than a wage on that but now no one buys them as its too easy to buy a good quality phone from a supermarket for a small amount. Is there a legal get rich quick scheme? Is there a better way to make money than working in a shitty job for a shitty boss for shitty money?
