My wife and I watched Giant Shark vs Mega Octopus or something like that.

I loved the airplane scene. It was like the first 30 minutes of Psycho.

Agreed, but he's second at best because Pete has made him self-aware I think. TJ is reflective and shrewd (brain surgery, stuff-of-legend auditions like with Yogi Bear) and I think he lets Pete take as much as he wants, especially because Pete started "Denver! Yeah!" as a TJ impersonation.
