Obviously. They don't fly props. Every pilot (save for military) starts with single engine piston aircraft.

That's the same thing, buddy. The pressure decreases at 1" every thousand feet which also means the density of the air also decreases, which means oxygen decreases with altitude. You get hypoxic at altitude because you lack oxygen. That's the definition of hypoxia. There are very few oxygen molecules at altitude compared to sea level. If the cabin is depressurized, the density of the oxygen in the aircraft decreases. Time until you stop being able to function well mentally decreases with altitude because there's less and less oxygen as you get higher and higher.
