Any old fashioned books you would recommend to learn how to do the basic tricks? I get some of the basic principles but my family is always looking for suggestions for birthdays and Christmas for me because I'm so hard to shop for.

The table does actually seem like something my wife would enjoy. Too bad really, her dad just helped her make a coffee table with a puzzle sized compartment under the lid so she can be halfway through the puzzle and still use the entire tabletop.
