Hi, with the tax code being near impossible to understand by any one person, how does the IRS keep everything in line then? How do they prosecute anyone without forgetting about some obscure part of the code?

That's not what they're saying. I think they're saying all the woes and doomsday prophecies sci fi likes to tell is fiction and I agree. A lot of the fear mongering around AI is ridiculous and unfounded. We should be thinking of this as another industrial revolution, but humans are too proud and too narcissistic to ever let something else control everything completely.

We should be trying to figure out what jobs half of this country is going to have and how families in the bread bowl are going to survive.

Many of these jobs will resist and die a slow painful death, but the problem with our education system is going to be very evident very soon.

Then it's a problem. Drugs feel good too and they also stop you from doing other things. Video games, drugs, porn, food, it's all a means to create dopamine. Lots of things give you dopamine but if you need dopamine that bad that you can't be bothered to do some exercise to get that dopamine instead of the easily accessible video game dopamine, then it sounds like on some level you need it.

If it goes from want to need then you may have a problem. You may be using it in that manner because something else is happening. Anxiety, depression, stress, discomfort, whatever the case may be.

It's really bad, as OP said, if you aren't even getting joy out of the game. Then you're using it out of a habit and out of a time sink. Basically fast forwarding time so the external unpleasantness passes and using video games as a comfort, like a childhood blanket. The act of gaming is comforting even if the game isn't enjoyable.

Is it advised to have a sultry voice or can any girl do this so long as they talk sexy? Trying to convince a friend to do it. I'm a terrible friend.

Thank you for doing this AMA Secretary Foxx!

I was wondering if you could enlighten me on why public transportation, and the infrastructure in place to transport, are entirely disproportionate in every corner of this country.

Take for example the East Coast. In Pennsylvania, from what I understand, if all the road work gets done the budget for next year will be less. So what happens is very slow progress on highways and streets that desperately need maintenance and complete overhaul in some cases. A lot of our highways are stuck in the 1960s, small two lane highways that don't support the population explosion that we've seen thanks to the major cities.

On top of that, if you don't live near a major city you can forget about not having a car. Even then, in the major cities you can expect an hour commute for your 25 minute by car travel time.

So our streets are in need of work, our public transport is wanting, and that's not taking into consideration the rest of this country. Trains should be everywhere to better ease the flow of people into places that are in desperate need of industry.

Our state might be an issue of how it's governed, and if so, is that the problem in this country? Does the federal government not have enough sway when it comes to dictating how highways should be built, maintained, enhanced and is there a funding problem when it comes to why our train system is entirely lacking as soon as you leave the east?

TL;DR: what the problem is, fam? Leader of the free world, until you hop on a rusty creaky unsafe bridge and sit there for 2 hours because it's only a two lane highway.
