Hi! First of all congrats on your triumphant victory over cancer.
My mother was diagnosed over a year ago with stage 4 lung cancer. She was giving a timeline of 8-12 months to live. 16 months later and after going through much of the same treatment as you she has successfully overcome it (thus far). She missed maybe 3 days of work during the entire treatment process and I believe that was one of the main things keeping her moving forward.
My question to you is, what were the driving forces behind you? What helped you push through and keep a positive outlook during the toughest times?

The exact opposite happened to my mother. She has top-notch highend-governmental insurance. She had a series of mini strokes caused by a tumor in her chest pressing on her heart, making it less efficient. Her doctors had her in and out of the hospital week after week testing everything in the book. 2.5 full months later they found the tumor.
They definitely milked her insurance for all they could first.
