Hey man!

Been to Tokyo twice- but not in hostels.. Hotels.

Anyway - just wanted to drop a note that you HAVE to go to Roppongi. It's a small suburb of Tokyo, and is like the Japanese Vegas.

So fun. Watch out for the Jamaican bouncers/promoters, they get physical and try to "persuade" you to go get a massage or to watch "a show". They are really just places the girls will try to fuck/blow you for money. Whore houses. Yes, speaking from experience we ended up in one- left immediately, but they are super pushy.

If you go during the winter, take the Bullet Train up to the Sapporo ice festival. Super fucking cool with ninjas and shit.

Kirin factory tour (beer) is cool too.

Ramen shops are a godsend- and look out for the skyscrapers full of video games.. Next gen shit - I was playing those games in the pods that completely surround you and move like ten years ago before they were here.

Anyway. Have fun! Let me know if you have any questions about the place! I love it so much - I'd totally move everything there!

Hi,

I know your post about the transplant was quite awhile ago.. But I was hoping to ask a few more questions if you had a few minutes.

I'm debating being a live donor, and really want to, but I'm kinda scared of what my life will be like after the surgery. What if I develop kidney disease? What if something happens, essentially you would be just switching places with that person..

Did you go through this stage? My donation wouldn't be for a family member but for an old employee of mine that is just so young and has so much potential.

He doesn't know I'm considering even getting tested and I know the likelihood of me being a good match are unknown(we have the same blood type is all I know so far) but I want to go get completely tested to find out... But then again, I don't want to, because if I AM a GOOD match for him and I chicken out, that would be horrible for him.

Ugh idk. Did you experience any of this?

Thanks

James
