Honest question: Do those ever really work in a long term stable relationship? The internet anecdotes lead me to believe they're a minefield, the last gasp of a dying relationship, or just one partner tolerating what amounts to emotional abuse. This is not an attempt to pass judgement on what two or more consenting adults do in their bedrooms. I'm legitimately curious here.
