What’s the difference between “urban exploring” and “trespassing?”

This is probably brand. new. information., but people live in utter devastation all over the United States. And they guard dead-end streets to where they live inside abandoned buildings that people with money think they can trespass into for spooky Instagram and Reddit content.

“Whereas trespassing is a felony, squatting is usually viewed as a civil matter. Squatting only becomes trespassing once the actual property owner has filed for the squatter’s removal with the relevant authorities.”

and

“The law gives squatters rights to the property even if they don’t legally own it. As long as the squatter isn’t served an eviction notice, they are legally allowed to live on the property and over time could gain legal ownership rights over the property.”

A “home” is relating to the place where one lives. And people live there. Therefore, this person is trespassing (he admits he goes into these places and then later leaves them), versus the people whom he claimed are “living” there.

They are not homeless. But good try.

What a privileged comment!!! Security came and cleared out the people “LIVING” there before the precious “urban explorers” came through for their 30-minute photo shoot. Disgusting.
