What, would you say, has been the greatest influence in helping you to become an actor?

I understand that a large portion of the anime fanbase, both in Japan and here in the U.S.A. tend to complain about the English dubbed versions of anime. As an industry professional, what are your thoughts on anime being adapted into different languages?
