A large fraction of people who are abused in their childhood retain trauma into adulthood, this isn't an exclusively homosexual experience.

Believe me, I've looked into this, but there's no evidence to support a causal link between abuse and homosexuality. The numbers are too disparate.

And even though abuse (both physical and sexual) is higher for homosexuals, the fact remains that the vast majority aren't victims of abuse.
