The rise of MMA has shown only certain styles to be effective, usually those which have had a practical sports or military application/heritage rise to the top. A lot of traditional martial arts are seen as theoretical without enough actual testing of techniques which often fail When tested in combat situations. Where do you see Aikido fitting in here? Do you feel there are both effective and theoretical techniques there?
