That’s brutal. I would have flipped a shit. One time we had an umpire eject our head coach because one of our parents did something similar to your story, less the air horn. Totally justified. That was my first year on the staff and it certainly sent a message to our parents

I couldn’t stand most of the parents. Best times coaching were when we’d be on bus trip tournaments. Kids can finally let their guard down and worry about playing ball rather than worrying about their parents

What’s it to you? There’s no benefit in naming those players or the player in question

They’re not even the focal point of my story. The point is that the kid being a drama queen (learned from his father) was on the same level of some real quality ball players and let his pride get in the way of what might have been a great career
