Rotating shifts within the same week? Wow that's rough and seems really opposite of what it should be, given how circadian rhythm disruption drastically changes cognitive abilities.

I would ask a doc to try a beta blocker. Had similar symptoms, it was a combo of hypertension and anxiety.

I have been a patient at Mayo my whole life and they've taken several different insurances, including Medicaid, blue cross, blue shield, cigna, and others. And during a brief period in time when I didn't have insurance at all, they just cleared my bill for me entirely since I had been a critical-need patient for so long.

Hello doctor!

A few years ago I developed pine nut syndrome after eating a bag of them over the course of a day or two. I had a bit of a metallic taste in my mouth but mostly just lost my sense of taste entirely. I only realized something was wrong when I made toast with butter and had to put a heaping pile of sea salt flakes on the toast to "make it taste right". Is this type of taste loss from pine nuts similar to what COVID-19 patients are experiencing?
