I am a 19 year old wanting to publish my own sci fi novel too (a noir inspired by blade runner and other cyber punk stuff, the current debate over government surveillance and the elderly in a world of technology) but I am worried about the financial costs of publishing once I finish it, and whether it will be worth it in the end.
