There was an apartment complex in the college town I used to deliver pizza for. A driver got raped on a delivery there so no pizza place would deliver there any more. After a few years deliveries started up again but only until dark and no female drivers were sent there. Crazy shit...

Dangerous, though...I hear it's a fiery place.

I've thought of doing this in my hometown so I can get out of the city. I'd love some tips and thoughts on the viability of this in a rural area with 1200-1500 population.

I was pretty astonished when I learned that the old saw of, "How do you get to Carnegie Hall? Practice, practice, practice" wasn't exactly true. It's actually, "How do you get to Carnegie Hall? Write a check."

Like you mentioned, most larger venues require proof that you're legit, but will usually take your money.

Got small hills but nothing huge. Could probably get access to a couple of high towers through connections in the local government (friends of friends, etc). What did you see for startup costs?

Edit: tall towers meaning over 200ft
