My biggest frustration with trying to teach tech stuff to my parents, especially my mother, is that unlike Bruce and Karen there they don't have a much of an good attitude of wanting to learn. My mom's response basically every time I try to point out that there is a better way to do something is "you know that because you learned it when young". Everything is "not meant for her".

You definitely can "teach an old dog new tricks", but the proverbial dog must be willing to learn, you can't force someone who insists they will never be able to learn to acquire new skills or knowledge.

You don't need a dev yet

You need an UX designer. That's the guy whose job is to do all of what is described above. :)

Source: am an UX designer.

To work is to prostitute oneself. Doesn't matter if you're charging for the use of your genitals, your hands, or your brain, you're always letting someone use some pay of your body in exchange for money. A sex worker is no different from someone working in an office, a construction site, or a farm.

Not the OP, but...

If you're working on a project for yourself, it's always good to work for exposure.

If you're working for others, "exposure" is just a bullshit term for "I don't respect you enough to pay for your work". Same for contests that only award the winner, but retain full or partial rights to your work. Never do speculative work, it's never worth it.

Am I the only one who's perfectly okay with her being a sex worker, but find it disgusting and immoral that she likes Justin Bieber? /s
