As posted below, the lyrics to Starfuckers Inc. are essentially about the situation. Essentially Trent signed MM to his label (Nothing) back in the day and helped to distribute MM's music. I can't remember who talked shit first but they had a falling out, Trent basically felt that MM wouldn't have happened without him, made a big fuss, MM got mad because his "credibility" took a hit (so to speak) and distanced himself from Trent.

That's a really, really glossed over version, and really, its been a long time since I've thought about it so apologies for the lack of detail but that's it in a nutshell. Basically power trips and ego games between star musicians of a similar genre, nothing too earth-shattering here and I say that as a fan of both artists.

EDIT: I believe I was incorrect about the origin of the lyrics for Starfuckers, Inc. As corrected below, it likely was about Courtney Love, I just didn't remember correctly. Everything else is generally correct to the best of my knowledge, and I apologize for unintentionally contributing misinformation. I can honestly say I've always thought it was about the MM situation until I was corrected.

Best AMA from a player off of an opposing team ever, seriously. I kinda hope the Lions do well now unless we see them in the playoffs. Go Eagles!

First of all, thanks for coming back. I enjoyed your first AMA and learned a lot, and everybody that does your job absolutely has my respect. My question is kind of a morbid one, but how often do you all encounter hypodermic needles/improperly disposed of medical waste/health hazardous stuff? I'd imagine not as much in recycling, but that still scares the hell outta me. I had a co-worker at an old job get poked with a needle cleaning out bathroom garbage, and I've been spooked since then.

Not really a question, just wanted to wish you the best of luck in your recovery and that I really hope your treatment works for you. My mother was diagnosed with Parkinson's around 2001 (age 53, not nearly as young but still on the younger side) after having symptoms for two years or so, and I spent my adolescent years (until college) helping to take care of her. As a result I get excited to hear about successful treatments, whatever they may be, and I sincerely hope it affords you the freedom and quality of life you deserve. I really hope this doesn't come off as condescending either, because that is certainly not my intention... its just a hard thing to write about sometimes. Either way, best of luck to you and I hope a speedy recovery.

This reminds me of a Far Side comic that was penned back in 1985 called "Hopeful Parents". I'm not going to post a link because Gary Larson isn't cool with his stuff being on the internet, but its definitely worth googling. So prescient its eerie, even if he was off by a few years.
