What makes this picture so wonderful is that small touch of the Subgenius. I wonder, has Mr. Offerman been to a Devival?

You're pricing out locals by making a New York salary in Florida. Northerners came down in droves during COVID and brought their higher out of state salaries with them... Now people like me can't afford shit because the local job market hasn't caught up and it's not like I can move north for that sweet taxed-but-not salary.

Feels bad, man.

Not who you're asking, but I live a stone's throw away from where this is happening. Aside from some minor traffic inconveniences around Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall, things are fine. In fact, now is an awesome time to be in Taipei because of the protest. It's pretty incredible to see.

What'd you find? When I came to China five years ago I was using Ubuntu, and I was never able to get repositories to work. Downloading the OS was fine, but anything afterwords was like squeezing blood out of a turnip.

On the other hand, I didn't have a VPN and I kind of suck at programming, but my more technically minded friend had the same troubles. We wound up switching to Windows out of pure frustration. I'd love to go back to Linux :( I miss it.

Yokohama. I live in Tokyo and the only place I've seen those buggers is in Yokohama and a tiny rural community up in Sendai.

Never seen one in ol' Tokyo, and trust me I play the game more than I should.
