That is completely untrue. Congress spends shit-tons of money on useless major equipment like tanks, while members of the military live with horrific conditions in barracks, appalling healthcare, shortages of necessary equipment, broken plates for body armor, terrible roads on post, and a whole lot more. I don't know why people think the military lives a life of luxury, because that couldn't be further from the truth.
