Beginning to wonder that myself. If he really is in Syria I feel for the guy, but to me a lot of his responses are starting to sound a little canned and too well thought out maybe. Or I don't know what to think anymore.

Edit: IP addresses don't mean squat when you can tunnel. And how hard is it to get a copy of a Syrian passport from someone?

Edit: If he could take a pic of his passport, then why not say, out the window, maybe put a little scenery in there of the local neighborhood so we can be more confident he's actually IN Syria? Or possibly a news report on TV with the current time? Also, he mentions his IP being proof of being in Syria. Putting aside the fact that it's trivial to appear to be coming from any IP, he is clearly anti-government, and seems to have no fear whatsoever of repercussions of posting anti-government statements online. Nothing but fishy, fishy, fishy smells coming out of this whole AMA.

Edit: As others have pointed out, far too many biased interests on both sides to be able to trust a damned thing anyone says.
