You’re going to limit me on my choices to protect myself? Have you ever had to defend yourself?
Let me guess “Ban guns with pistol grips and adjustable stocks! That’ll solve gun violence!”
Look dude, I’m as democratic as I can be, check out /r/liberalgunowners. I hate the NRA for making us look bad. I hate everything the Reps are doing. But to think that banning scary looking guns will solve anything is ludicrous. What happens when you do? They’ll use other weapons. Just look at Columbine, which happened during the assault weapon ban of 1994-2014. Let alone all of the other mass shootings during that period. Look up the Mini-14 and M1A. Same think, but wait “that’s made of wood, it can’t hurt anyone.” Right? /s
Look at the third deadliest shooting in US history. 32 people dead only with a handgun. You think that won’t happen again? There’s been mass shootings conducted with pump shot guns. Give me a break.
I agree with making it more difficult to obtain a weapon. I heavily disagree with banning a type of weapon all out. My AR-15 is my tool for self defense. It’s light weight and can be used by my whole family, including my kids. The .223 is a perfect choice for home defense, meaning the bullet doesn’t over penetrate and I don’t have to worry about accidentally killing someone in an adjacent room or my neighbors.

No no, that's 9G on the Y axis. At 9G we're trying everything we can to keep the BLOOD in our brain to prevent passing out. We are able take more G than 9, but are limited because the blood is pulled from our brain causing us to pass out. Pilots such as racing pilots take around 10G or more but do not have to worry about passing out as much because they pull short bursts of high G. Fighter Pilots more so because they are exposed to the high G at a longer time, sometimes up to a minute or 2 - or even more.
Now on the X-axis, like this case in sprint forward we can handle a lot more, considering the blood isn't falling out of our brain. Example in a car crash at 40 mph and say you stop in a foot, you reach 30G and still probably survive.
