I have an issue within lucid dreaming wherein I cannot change anything in the dream. I can be aware I'm dreaming, and the more I try to change things, the closer I get to waking up. When I try to "concentrate" I am usually engaging the tensor tympani muscle which gives a loud warbling sound. I'm sure there's something I'm messing up on it, but not sure what.

Are there any tricks to help manipulate the dreams? Even if I end up fully awake in the dream, I usually cannot change anything except for some very minor effects.

Transmittable would mean how easily it spreads in the environment and how long it lasts outside of a host. Less infectious would mean that it has a lower chance of leading to an infection should you come in contact with it.

What is your opinion on the NSF directly funding block chain research within companies?

I worked on SBIR (small business innovation and research grants) and one of the specific categories at the NSF is blockhain: https://seedfund.nsf.gov/topics/distributed-ledger/

Now here's my thinking: I don't think we have had really good uses come out from distributed ledgers and the like that hasn't already been done in other ways or misrepresents issues...

But I would like to hear your take on it!

Hah, Like the idea of shift+tab, but console gamer here. I'll try thinking of controllers, though I am on the computer lot so windows in general might work too. And that's really where my question is at: my attempt to "force" things seems to just be waking myself up rather than actually manipulating things in the dream. Thanks for the tip!

I'm sure it's a "once you get it, you know" type thing. I've definitely been trying to will things to happen, so I'll keep your perspective in mind next time.
