What is your best subway story?

Can't tell you how many times the same thing has happened to me (in my head, I never muster that courage)! It's refreshing to hear a subway story that isn't about some fight or hobo. Shame nothing ever came of it though, but it's still wonderful to talk to complete strangers.

Whenever me and a pretty girl are stealing glances at eachother, I always resolve that if they get off at my stop I'll talk to them. They never do.

Those are the best kind of interactions if you ask me, and as a guy I'd definitely say it was a win. He probably went about the rest of his day feeling good about saying a nice thing to a stranger, making you blush, and that interaction. Things can go south if you turn it into a "pickup" because then it can be awkward, uncomfortable, even disappointing (and positive once in a blue moon).

I think I'm content with leaving those sort of interactions up to the train-station-gods. Imagine the story if one day they did get off at my stop! The calling card is a neat idea, but I don't think I'd be able to keep a straight face handing a girl one of those - reminds me too much of The Joker haha
