I actually do try to buy fair trade clothing and shoes (when I can afford it) and try to be conscious of where products and food I use come from. Let me tell you..... People do not like to be reminded of this. They say it's great sure, but they are super quick to point out any flaw they can see, or any misstep on my part, even if they are doing absolutely nothing themselves. My husband thinks it's a giant waste of money.

Well said. The slut shaming in particular bothers me, as does the fact that abused men have to deal with the whole masculine doesn't go with victimized thing. It just seems to make everything so much worse for them.

Fuck slippers. They get dirty, and people just keep using them until they smell putrid. I also see people wear them outside, which is gross because they then track in all sorts of stuff and get it all over the furniture. When it's cold I wear socks; washable after every use!

This is about asd close to a man knowing women's "grooming pressures" as I can imagine. You can't just go out.... you have to make sure your hair, makeup, and clothes are in order at the very least.

This. The people that could actually do something largely dismiss the seriousness, or fuck around being indecisive. Most of what I have seen come from this pandemic is profiteering while failing to fully help the people that actually need it. The leaders that are spot on and trying to do something are silenced or outright admonished at times. Then there is the movement of non-leader people who are anti mask and want everything opened back up fogging everything up as well. I can hardly listen to politics anymore.
